Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

This policy covers the web pages and on-site download links provided by V2Ray Subscription Guide at v2rayopen.com, and explains how visit data is handled. Data processed by client apps, subscription providers and download sources is outside this website’s control.

1. Data We Collect

This site provides static guides and download links. It does not offer account registration, require an email address, or let you parse subscription links online, host nodes or upload configurations. You can read the guides without submitting your name, phone number, payment details or client configuration.

When your browser requests a page, the hosting and network services receive information needed to deliver it, such as your IP address, requested path, access time, browser details, response status and, where available, the referring page. This information may be used to serve pages, detect unusual requests and troubleshoot service issues. It does not mean this site can access files on your device.

Manage subscription links, share links, connection passwords and routing settings only in your client app. Simply displaying configuration guides does not allow this site to read those details.

2. Analytics and How Data Is Used

We use analytics to understand page visits, referral sources, device categories and interactions with download links, such as switching platforms or clicking a link. This helps us make guides easier to find, improve page compatibility and identify broken links. A recorded click does not mean a file was downloaded or a client connected successfully.

Analytics requests may include page URLs, referral information, browser characteristics and visit identifiers. Do not add sensitive information such as subscription links or passwords to query parameters in this site's URLs. Analytics do not rely on reading proxy traffic, browsing history on destination sites or client connection logs. We do not sell visit data.

How long technical logs and analytics data are retained depends on the services actually in use. This policy does not promise a fixed retention period that has not been verified. Data no longer needed for operations or analysis should be deleted or aggregated.

3. Cookies and Browser Storage

Depending on the deployment, analytics may use cookies or other browser storage identifiers to distinguish sessions and avoid duplicate counts. On-site tabs may preserve the selected platform in the URL fragment. Language switching uses page paths; no account is needed.

Your browser cache may store pages, fonts and scripts to reduce repeat downloads. Cache, cookies and local storage are separate mechanisms, so clearing one does not necessarily clear the others. You can view, restrict or delete these records in your browser’s site data settings.

Blocking analytics scripts or cookies usually does not prevent you from reading the page, but it may affect visit counts or preference restoration. Clearing this site’s browser data does not remove subscriptions or settings stored in your client app.

4. Download Sources and External Services

The download page uses same-origin links to retrieve installer information. Installation files are provided by the release sources for the relevant client projects and delivered through the deployment layer by forwarding or redirecting requests. The installers are not stored in this site’s static asset directory.

When you request an installation file, the network services involved in delivery may receive your IP address, request time, file path and necessary browser information. External pages and services handle data under their own policies; this policy does not replace their disclosures.

Data handling after you install a client, import a subscription or connect is determined by the client and service providers you use. This site provides instructions but does not manage subscription accounts, and cannot use visit records to look up subscription balances or connection contents.

5. Privacy and Policy Updates

Before sharing a screenshot or describing an issue, hide complete subscription links, QR codes, passwords and log details that could identify you. For help with setup, start with the Getting Started guide. When reporting an issue, include only the steps to reproduce it and the relevant error text; never put sensitive settings in a URL or public post.

If our analytics methods, download delivery or data handling change, we will update this page and the month shown at the top. Any new data use will be clearly explained before it begins. Refer to the latest version of this policy.
