Terms of Use

Last updated: October 2026

These terms apply to articles, configuration guides, and download instructions provided by V2Ray Subscription Guide (v2rayopen.com). Read them before using this content. If you do not agree, stop using the relevant services. These terms do not replace third-party software license agreements.

1. Content and scope

This site provides learning resources about the V2Ray ecosystem, v2rayN, and related clients. The content is for technical learning, configuration reference, and troubleshooting only. It is not legal advice, a commercial commitment, or a guarantee of suitability for any specific network environment.

Tutorials reflect the interfaces and features available when they were written. Client updates, system differences, and server configurations may change menu names or results. Before changing settings, check your current interface and do not assume examples are ready-to-use configurations for your situation.

2. Lawful use and user responsibilities

You must comply with the laws and regulations that apply where you live and to your activities, as well as the rules of your employer, school, or network provider. Do not use this site's materials or related software for unauthorized access, data theft, malicious attacks, infringement of others' rights, or any other unlawful activity.

Before use, make sure you are authorized to use the relevant devices, networks, and services. These tutorials do not authorize you to bypass applicable rules. You are responsible for determining whether your intended use is lawful and for complying with the law in your configuration, transmissions, and actions.

3. Third-party software and services

The software discussed here is provided by its respective open-source projects, which determine its features, license terms, and release schedule. This site offers explanations and download instructions; it does not represent those projects, and featuring a client does not create an agency, endorsement, or official partnership.

This site does not provide subscription accounts or server nodes. Subscription validity, service quality, fees, and dispute resolution are matters between you and the relevant service provider. An accessible download or a client that starts does not mean a subscription is valid or guarantee a successful connection.

4. Risks and disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, this site does not guarantee that its materials will always be accurate, complete, or available, or that third-party software and services will be available. In principle, this site is not liable for connection interruptions, lost configurations or data, or related losses resulting from following tutorials or using software or third-party services. This does not affect liabilities that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

Before changing system proxy, routing, or DNS settings, save your current configuration and back up important data. Subscription URLs, account details, and configuration files may contain access credentials; keep them secure and hide sensitive information when sharing screenshots or asking for help. If something goes wrong, stop repeating the operation, restore the original settings, and then investigate the cause.

5. Intellectual property and attribution

Software code, names, logos, and documentation from open-source projects remain the property of their respective rights holders. Use, modification, and redistribution must comply with the applicable open-source licenses and other terms. This site's descriptions do not change those licenses or grant rights beyond their scope.

When quoting original material from this site, credit the source and retain necessary context. Do not edit it and present it as an official conclusion. Republishing, adapting, or otherwise using the material must comply with applicable law and authorization requirements. This does not restrict fair use permitted by law.

6. Changes to these terms and feedback

These terms may be revised to reflect content or service changes or legal requirements. Revisions will be published on this page, and the date at the top will be updated. If the law requires separate notice, we will provide it as required. In principle, revisions apply only to conduct after they take effect and will not retroactively diminish rights you have under the law.

For help reviewing your setup or preparing feedback, start with the Getting Started guide. Record the client, system, and error details step by step, and remove sensitive information such as subscription URLs. For details on how personal information is handled, see the Privacy Policy.
